About the role
- Overseeing the operations and performance of the Atlanta and Charlotte markets
- Managing staff and ensuring efficient logistics operations
- Maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving financial targets
- Executing sales strategy with existing sales team
- Building and maintaining a book of business
- Analyzing and interpreting financial statements to maximize profits
- Driving continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation, or associate field)
- 15 – 20 years of experience in freight forwarding required
- 7-10 years of supervisory experience required
- Influencer level of talent to elevate the Hellmann brand as employer and service provider
- Financial acumen – understands business drivers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Email, and Internet
- Proficient in world geography, shipping documentation, and Incoterms preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
