About the role
- Develop and implement a forward-looking IT strategy to support company objectives, and evaluate and integrate new technologies
- Responsible for the provision, maintenance, further development and support of all IT systems (servers, PCs, software, networks, peripherals)
- Lead, mentor and develop the IT team while ensuring adherence to compliance and governance requirements
- Plan, manage and monitor IT projects and budgets
- Create and implement IT policies, security concepts, and backup and disaster recovery strategies, including regular testing to ensure effectiveness
- Maintain clear and regular communication with management, business units and external partners to ensure effective delivery of IT services
Requirements
- University degree or a comparable vocational qualification with relevant further training
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a senior IT role, ideally in a manufacturing company
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams successfully
- Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies
- Proven experience leading and successfully delivering large IT projects
- Hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving skills and a strong service-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
