About the role

Design, develop, and implement integrations with various EHR systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) and custom APIs
Own technical implementation for enterprise clients (e.g., Epic/Cerner integrations, partner EMR SDK integrations), manage contracts and be primary client contact
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration solutions
Conduct thorough testing and validation of integration solutions; troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and deployment
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals
Implement monitoring tools to track integration performance and ensure ongoing support and maintenance
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance integration processes and outcomes

Strong technical knowledge of integrations and APIs (HL7, SMART on FHIR, SSO, SNOMED, ICD-10, CDI, RCM & billing in EHRs)
Experience with US EHRs such as Epic, hospital implementations or EHR integrations
Experience designing, developing, and implementing integrations with EHR systems and custom APIs
Experience owning technical implementations for enterprise clients and managing external partners
Experience conducting testing, validation, monitoring, and maintenance of integrations
Experience creating and maintaining documentation (design specs, test plans, user manuals)
Experienced working with cross-functional teams (product managers, software engineers, contractors, stakeholders)
