About the role
- Lead data governance, privacy and compliance across all people systems
- Ensure alignment with Australian employment legislation and internal policies
- Provide oversight of Workday stability, releases, integrations and enhancements
- Drive accurate, timely and meaningful workforce reporting and insights
- Develop and maintain people policies, procedures and employment templates
- Assess and manage people‑related risk and assurance activities
- Partner with IT, Payroll, Finance and senior leaders on systems and governance
- Lead, coach and develop a small specialist team
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Law or a related discipline
- Extensive experience managing HRIS / People Systems (Workday highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of employment legislation, governance and data privacy
- Proven experience leading system improvements and complex people processes
- Advanced reporting, analytics and executive‑level communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capability
- Experience in industrial, construction, resources or manufacturing environments (desirable)
- Exposure to large blue‑collar workforces and complex industrial instruments (desirable)
- Experience leading investigations, assurance activities or M&A integration (desirable)
