About the role

Reporting to the Head of Global Finance, responsible for accounting across our entities in Europe (France and Spain) and Africa (Algeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali and Angola).
Directly manage 2 accountants based in Algiers.
Work closely with operational teams to provide relevant analyses and recommendations.
Ensure the reliability, quality and timeliness of accounting.
Oversee local accounting operations (France, Spain, Algeria, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Angola).
Ensure proper application of local accounting and tax standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact with external accounting firms and auditors.
Organize task allocation and set priorities.
Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

8 to 10+ years of accounting experience, including experience in a structured or multi-entity environment
Previous experience managing a team (or a strong interest in management)
Comfortable working in international / multi-country environments
Fluent in French (required) and ideally English
Advanced Excel skills
Structured and rigorous, with a focus on continuous improvement and impact
Ability to step back, take perspective and prioritize
