About the role

  • Collaborates with the Executive Director of the Lunder CareForce Institute to identify educational goals and priorities for HSL.
  • Responsible for ensuring evidence-based nursing practice at the Roslindale and Dedham campuses.
  • Provides oversight and coordination of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Works across departments to create shared service agreements and collaborates on educational goals.
  • Manages and oversees English language classes in conjunction with the Lunder CareForce Institute.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with nursing leadership experience. (Masters in Nursing Preferred)
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience creating leadership development programs highly desired.
  • Computer literacy required, understanding of Learning Management system preferred.
  • Ability to plan, organize and direct large-scale and comprehensive nursing activities.
  • Ability to supervise, train and motivate employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administration, medical personnel, employees, the public and other agencies.
