About the role

  • Coach, develop, and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) in designated region
  • Develop new business and manage existing customers in office coffee , bars, and restaurants
  • Utilize value-based selling to prospect and close new business and manage the full sales cycle
  • Organize and effectively manage a potential customer funnel of targets
  • Coordinate and execute training and marketing project support for Java House accounts
  • Keep current with and educate potential customers on liquid coffee and specialty beverage trends
  • Demonstrate a proactive mentality for setting sales goals and closing accounts
  • Drive sales performance and revenue growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business
  • 5+ years’ experience selling in specialty foodservice, Office Coffee Service (OCS), or Spirits preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience managing, coaching, and developing successful sales teams
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge in value-based selling and sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC
  • Demonstrated success and proven track record with new account penetration
  • Must be able to travel assigned territory as needed
  • Relentless drive to uncover and close new business
  • Proven history of sales management experience & achievement leading high potential teams
  • Professional, positive, and proactive written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior presentation skills to tell a compelling story and influence decision makers
  • Strong, collaborative, relationship-building, analytical and proactive problem-solving skills
