About the role

  • Lead and develop the national Field Reimbursement team, ensuring effective provider support for access, coding, billing, and reimbursement of HeartFlow’s products.
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of field reimbursement activities.
  • Develop and disseminate educational materials on coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
  • Drive collaboration with field facing “One Team” leaders to compliantly share insights into customer needs, potential barriers, and payer issues/opportunities for access at practices and identify facilities and practices that need reimbursement education and support regarding HeartFlow products.
  • Provide strategic leadership, talent development, and operational guidance to the field reimbursement team to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of HeartFlow policies and requirements and perform the role in a compliant manner consistent with company guidance.
  • Keep abreast of customer and market access industry trends.
  • Anticipate market trends and cultivate team capabilities to drive innovative, proactive market access strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Market Access, Field Reimbursement, Managed Care or Field Sales roles within the medical device, diagnostics, or digital health industry.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience building, managing, and leading Field teams is required. Experience managing field based teams in different locations, time zones, and countries is greatly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth or innovative healthcare company preferred.
