About the role
- Own and maintain end-to-end MLOps pipelines, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring
- Design, develop, and maintain machine learning models and incorporate LLMs into traditional ML systems
- Experiment with machine learning model architectures and optimize model performance and scalability
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to push models into production environments
- Evaluate and monitor model performance, implementing necessary improvements and updates
- Drive deployment to production and scale the platform to improve hospital patient outcomes
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Machine Learning and Backend Software Engineering
- Proven track record of deploying ML models at scale
- Strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and software engineering best practices
- Experience with big data processing and feature engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explore novel model architectures
- Eagerness to build from 0 to 1 and unlock potential in healthcare data
- Willingness to live in the Bay Area or relocate (role requires a hybrid in-office schedule at our San Francisco, Mission District HQ)
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (application asks about U.S. work authorization)
