About the role
- Oversee and support 4-6 Regional Program Managers across multiple cities, driving program excellence, community engagement, and sustainable impact in school-based wellness programming
- Lead, coach, and support Regional Program Managers to achieve ambitious program goals and professional growth objectives
- Provide direct coaching on program implementation, community partnerships, and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct regular site visits to program locations for coaching, feedback, and stakeholder relationship building
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning across the regional team
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with school districts, funders, community organizations, and key stakeholders
- Support Regional Program Managers in identifying and securing program growth opportunities
- Support funder relationship management, including grant reporting and submission activities
- Represent HealthCorps at district-level meetings, community events, and strategic planning sessions
- Collaborate with a national team of directors to develop synchronized systems, resources, and best practices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized program delivery models
- Share regional insights and innovations to inform national program strategy
- Participate in national director meetings, training, and strategic planning initiatives
- Ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across all Regional sites
- Monitor program outcomes and impact metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Support the development and execution of regional program expansion strategies
- Maintain oversight of regional budget management and resource allocation
- Serve as a key point of contact for regional funders and major community partners
- Support community engagement initiatives and public representation of HealthCorps
- Facilitate cross-sector partnerships to amplify program impact and sustainability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in health education, health promotion, or other youth serving organization
- 3-5 years of experience leading programs and teams
- Proven track record managing multiple direct reports and driving results through others
- Significant experience in youth development, school-based programming, or education-focused initiatives
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with funders, school districts, and community stakeholders
- Ability to develop and execute multi-site regional strategies with measurable outcomes
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with experience developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional relationship management skills with diverse stakeholders including educators, funders, and community leaders
- Experience with funder relations, grant reporting, and funding development activities
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively within national frameworks while adapting to local needs
- Proven ability to navigate complex challenges in resource-limited environments
- Demonstrated success working with diverse communities and populations
- Approximately 10-15% travel time across the regional territory
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local and regional travel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data management systems, and virtual collaboration tools
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and work extended hours as needed for events and site visits
- Available for occasional evening, weekend, or overnight travel for regional events and national meetings
