IT Support

• Working from home office, answering help desk phone calls and monitoring case queues and working closely with customers toward rapid issue resolution
• Traveling to customer locations in downtown Chicago to provide onsite field IT support (1-2 days/week, or as needed)
• Occasional domestic US travel to customer sites where installs, moves, and repairs are required
• Installing and supporting Windows Server based networks (2016, 2019,2022)
• Installing and managing networking equipment (Cisco & Dell), including initial configuration, fail-over setup, and VPN configuration
• SQL Server management which includes backup and restoration of databases, and job maintenance
• Medical software installation, configuration, and setup
• Using desktop support clients to remotely troubleshoot customer workstations and systems
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of peripheral hardware, monitors, printers, and scanners
• Coordinating projects with 3rd party vendors
• Sharing on-call rotation with your team, holiday/weekend/evening shifts are required
• Performs other related duties as assigned

IT Support Specialist

Software Engineer

• Lead analysis, design, specifications, code review, testing, and implementation of enhancements and new applications using RPG Free Format (ILE) on IBM i (AS/400) with embedded SQL.
• Answer questions and assist other developers.
• Develop and maintain Interface Import application programs, ensuring high availability, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and business units to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Provide production support and system troubleshooting for integrated systems.
• Manage onboarding projects for new clients, including planning, execution, and documentation.
• Provide backup development support for other IBM i applications as needed.
• Monitor system jobs on a rotational basis, resolving or escalating issues promptly.
• Document code, processes, and system design for long-term maintenance and audit purposes.
• Participate in daily Microsoft Teams meetings and use Jira for task and project tracking.
