About the role
- Perform direct and indirect patient/resident/client care activities

Requirements
- Complete high school education
- Successful completion of a recognized academic Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) program or accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)/Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) program
- Recent and related direct patient/resident/client care experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- CPR training in accordance with the Employer’s policy
- Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care independently with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Basic computer skills and literacy required
- Must demonstrate the use of safe and effective body mechanics while working with patients/residents/clients
