About the role
- Supports the Radiation Oncology Program by contributing to all aspects of the treatment planning process
- Conducts simulation consults, image import, structure creation, and generates plans for treatment
- Contributes to didactic and/or clinical instruction for radiation therapy students, radiation oncology residents and other staff/students as required
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Radiation Therapy
- Eligible to be an active practicing member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT)
- Current CAMRT registration
- Preferred Bachelor of (Radiation) Science, Health Science Degree
- Advanced Credentials: CT Therapy Certificate (CTRT), Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD), CAMRT Dosimetry Certificate (CDC)
- Experience with related software and radiation therapy equipment
- Recent treatment planning experience
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
