About the role

  • Shape and execute strategies and policies to boost employee engagement
  • Manage all facets of labor relations, including negotiating and administering contracts
  • Facilitate third-party interventions and oversee employee relations programs
  • Assess HR needs and craft tactical plans
  • Collaborate with HR leaders for specialized insights
  • Guide successful implementation of initiatives and increase efficiencies
  • Conduct union contract negotiations and manage responses to EEOC charges
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain complete confidentiality of company business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management and 15 years of experience or 19 years of experience
  • 7 years experience in Employee/Labor Relations management
  • Knowledge of the principles of employee/management relations, collective bargaining process, and human resource management principles
  • Experience with using modern technology and other technology tools to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Negotiation skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.
  • Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases
  • Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI.
