About the role
- Shape and execute strategies and policies to boost employee engagement
- Manage all facets of labor relations, including negotiating and administering contracts
- Facilitate third-party interventions and oversee employee relations programs
- Assess HR needs and craft tactical plans
- Collaborate with HR leaders for specialized insights
- Guide successful implementation of initiatives and increase efficiencies
- Conduct union contract negotiations and manage responses to EEOC charges
- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management and 15 years of experience or 19 years of experience
- 7 years experience in Employee/Labor Relations management
- Knowledge of the principles of employee/management relations, collective bargaining process, and human resource management principles
- Experience with using modern technology and other technology tools to drive efficiency and productivity
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.
- Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI.
