About the role
- Identify and create new qualified leads for Regional Sales Directors.
- Manage inbound leads and outbound call campaigns.
- Qualify active buying interest and identify decision-makers.
- Work with Sales counterparts to research key accounts.
- Articulate the Hazelcast value proposition to various stakeholders.
- Coordinate efforts with the marketing team to drive attendance to events.
- Utilize CRM and communication tools effectively.
- Conduct Internet research for prospecting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- At least, 1 year of relevant professional sales experience
- Candidates should have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment
- Industry knowledge a plus
- Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification, and goal achievement preferred
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented
- Experience in speaking with a Line of Business leaders and C-level executives
- Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
- Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
- Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred
