About the role
- We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our US Sales team.
- Responsible for identifying and creating new qualified leads for Regional Sales Directors and Corporate Sales counterparts.
- Manage inbound leads and outbound call campaigns, qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision-makers.
- Coordinate with Sales counterparts to research key accounts, identify additional contacts, and understand organizational structures.
- Articulate the Hazelcast value proposition via phone and web to Developers, IT Architects, Line of Business leaders, and C-level executives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- At least, 1 year of relevant professional sales experience
- Candidates should have sales development or related experience in a business-to-business environment
- Industry knowledge a plus
- Proven track record of success in cold calling, deal qualification, and goal achievement preferred
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident, able to work diligently and independently, and goal-oriented
- Experience in speaking with a Line of Business leaders and C-level executives
- Fast learner with strong technical aptitude
- Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
- Experience in software start-up and competitive software sales environments preferred
