About the role

  • Source, screen, and recruit healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and various other clinical roles.
  • Source, screen, and recruit corporate professionals to join the internal Hawthorne team.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, and other methods to attract candidates.
  • Identify and leverage innovative tools to support the automation of screening and filtering candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and align with vacancies.
  • Provide feedback and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities including the contracting process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the wider Hawthorne Health team to ensure coverage areas are actively being recruited by credential and location.
  • Understand the study specific details to develop the criteria for candidate pool inclusion and job requirements.
  • Keep updated on site locations and specific needs by therapeutic area.
  • Prioritize recruitment needs based on current sourcing needs and the pipeline.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet study needs and attract top talent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes to refine recruitment practices.
  • Conduct workforce planning initiatives with stakeholders to anticipate future recruitment needs and support strategy development with leadership.
  • Collate and analyze recruitment and onboarding metrics, such as time-to-fill, sourcing channel cost, and onboarding success.
  • Prepare reports, graphics, and presentations.
  • Establish goals and objectives in alignment with the strategic goals of Hawthorne Health and provide ongoing performance evaluation.
  • Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Maintain relationships with past candidates and passive talent.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements during the recruitment process. Keep accurate records of all candidate communications and recruitment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare recruiting or a related field. Experience with recruiting healthcare professionals in clinical trials space is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and job roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience working as a clinician or exposure to healthcare environments is a plus.
