Pre-sales Engineer

• Partner with the Sales team to identify key business needs and objectives of prospective and current banking and financial industry clients.
• Utilize a consultative approach to design customized solutions addressing clients' current and future challenges, effectively communicating required subject matter expertise.
• Assess associated risk factors of proposed solutions and articulate them to clients and internal stakeholders confidently.
• Prepare and deliver solution design illustrations and bespoke demonstrations to maximize commercial impact.
• Contribute to deal-specific business cases and pricing for expert implementation and operation of solutions.
• Manage the RFP process, including question responses, proposal development, and business case creation within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Lead prospective clients through proof of concept (POC) delivery, coordinating tech and compliance teams with internal Tech and Data teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a feedback loop throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Provide market-based input to the Product team, aiding in short and long-term roadmap planning.

Senior Pre-Sales Consultant – German Speaking

Implementation Specialist

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyse their requirements and business processes
• Understand the risks involved to the customer and Hawk for solutions proposed
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' AML and fraud prevention needs
• Provide expert advice on best practices and optimal solution configurations
• Configure and customize our AML and fraud prevention solutions to align with client requirements
• Lead the technical deployment of our solutions, ensuring seamless integration with clients' existing systems and workflows
• Support customers in performing rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure solution functionality and performance
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions for clients’ teams to ensure they can effectively use our solutions
• Build out robust library of training material to support customer onboarding during implementation
• Serve as the primary point of contact for any implementation-related inquiries, issues & support
• Plan, coordinate, and manage implementation projects from start to finish
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Structure, run and manage client implementation projects to quick, successful go-lives, by a combination of own hands-on implementation and project leadership post-sales

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, build, and operate the backend systems that power the Investigation Agent: LangGraph workflows, FastAPI services, Postgres and Redis data layers, Kubernetes deployments, and Langfuse-based observability and evaluation.
• Build the frontend surface that makes the agent's work legible: React + TypeScript components in shadcn/ui that surface agent reasoning, evidence, and explainability so analysts can trust, challenge, or take over.
• Own features end-to-end. You take a problem from spec to production — backend, frontend, infra, observability, evals — without waiting for someone else to finish their part first.
• Make the agent reliable. Build the eval harnesses, tracing, and feedback loops in Langfuse that turn "the model usually does the right thing" into "the model demonstrably does the right thing, and we know when it doesn't."
• Partner closely with Product/UX, Data Science, and the rest of Engineering to shape what gets built — not just how. You question the "why" behind features and push back when something doesn't feel right.
• Champion an AI-native engineering workflow.
• Help establish engineering best practices for agentic products at Hawk: how we test agents, how we deploy them, how we monitor them, how we roll back when they misbehave.
