About the role
- You'll be involved in the financial underwriting for individual properties and entire portfolios, covering both new acquisitions and complex refinancing transactions.
- You'll be the engine behind our acquisitions and dispositions, managing the flow and ensuring a smooth, forward-moving process from due diligence to closing.
- Go beyond the surface to perform thorough financial, market, and operational due diligence at the property level to inform our investment decisions.
- Act as the critical communication hub between our lenders and internal teams, expertly responding to documentation requests and validating key assumptions.
- Coordinate essential third-party reports, including site visits for lenders and inspectors, ensuring all parties have the information they need.
- Develop and refine operating and capital budgets for our newly acquired properties, setting them up for long-term success.
- Handle ongoing property and fund documentation requests from lenders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring compliance.
- Generate compelling content for investor presentations and newsletters, clearly communicating the value and performance of our investments.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, General Business, or a related field.
- 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in real estate transactions.
- Experience with Manufactured Home Communities is a huge plus and will set you up for success here!
- You're not just proficient in Excel; you can build complex models that tell a clear financial story.
- Your written communication is sharp, professional, and easy to understand.
- You have a proven work ethic and can confidently drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- You're organized, analytical, and always focused on finding the right solution.
- You catch the little things that make a big difference.
- You can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
