About the role

  • Help policyholders get back on the road quickly and confidently.
  • Handle auto physical damage claims from intake through resolution.
  • Deliver timely, accurate outcomes while providing a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate claim documentation within the claim system.
  • Investigate and evaluate losses by reviewing damage photos, repair estimates, police reports, statements, and other documentation.
  • Interpret coverage and determine liability in accordance with policy terms, applicable laws, and internal guidelines.
  • Identify potential fraud indicators and refer matters to the Special Investigations Unit as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Loss Control, Underwriting, and Marketing as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
  • Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state adjuster licenses and continuing education as required.
