About the role
- Help policyholders get back on the road quickly and confidently.
- Handle auto physical damage claims from intake through resolution.
- Deliver timely, accurate outcomes while providing a high level of customer service.
- Maintain thorough and accurate claim documentation within the claim system.
- Investigate and evaluate losses by reviewing damage photos, repair estimates, police reports, statements, and other documentation.
- Interpret coverage and determine liability in accordance with policy terms, applicable laws, and internal guidelines.
- Identify potential fraud indicators and refer matters to the Special Investigations Unit as appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal partners including Loss Control, Underwriting, and Marketing as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state adjuster licenses and continuing education as required.
