About the role
- Assess vehicle damage remotely, reviewing repair estimates
- Ensure repair methods and costs are accurate, safe, and aligned with industry standards
- Validate repair routes and support repair-versus-total-loss decisions
- Collaborate with repairers, claims handlers, and customers
- Provide clear technical guidance and negotiate where necessary
- Monitor repair progress and identify inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate information across claims systems
Requirements
- Proven experience within the motor industry
- Strong knowledge of bodywork and/or mechanical repair
- ATA VDA accreditation (achieved or currently working towards)
- AQP accreditation
- Proficient in Audatex or GT Motive estimating systems
- Hands-on experience essential
- Strong IT capability, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical reasoning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
