About the role

  • Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for core products and major releases like Fabric.
  • Lead product launches and feature rollouts from strategy through execution.
  • Conduct customer, competitor, and market research to inform messaging and strategic priorities.
  • Partner closely with Product and Sales to translate technical capabilities into clear, audience-relevant benefits.
  • Develop and maintain product one-pagers, battlecards, and other sales enablement assets.
  • Design and drive content strategy focused on developers, including blog posts, tutorials, product deep dives, docs coordination, and community education.
  • Partner with DevRel and Engineering to surface technical insights and bring them to life through engaging, digestible content.
  • Ensure content aligns with SEO and thought leadership goals.
  • Manage external communications strategy in partnership with agencies and internal spokespeople around specific product launches and brand activations.
  • Pitch stories to media, secure coverage, and build relationships with tech and industry journalists.
  • Support executive thought leadership, speaking opportunities, and contributed content.
  • Manage analyst briefings and relationship development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on product marketing and/or developer-focused audiences.
  • Proven success launching technical products and leading messaging strategy.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; you can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging copy.
  • Experience managing PR or communications programs, either in-house or via agency.
  • Comfortable interfacing with engineers, PMs, and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud, AI/ML, APIs, databases, or developer tooling preferred.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action and comfort in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with open source communities and DevRel teams (nice to have).
  • Background in journalism, content strategy, or comms (nice to have).
  • Hands-on skills in tools like Webflow, Asana, Figma, Salesforce, Apollo, HubSpot (nice to have).
