💰 $102,500 - $110,000 per year

About the role

  • Lead and manage IT-related projects across Harlem Children’s Zone/Promise Academy, including IT infrastructure upgrades, classroom technology life-cycle management, cybersecurity projects, A/V projects, and other applicable educational technology and information technology-related implementations
  • Utilize industry-standard project management tools/platforms to manage project workflows, timelines, communication, and reporting
  • Partner with IT leadership, school leadership, faculty, and administration staff to identify technology needs and align project outcomes with organizational goals
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and accountability
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security policies, and education technology standards as it relates to project management
  • Support IT department operations by helping prioritize requests, troubleshooting project assessment and scope, and ensuring efficient use of applicable resources

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of IT project Management experience, preferably in a non-profit environment
  • Proficiency in using project management and collaboration platforms
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, instructional technology platforms and ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of managing network, systems, cloud, and cybersecurity-related projects preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in mission-critical, fast-paced school/non-profit environments
  • Ability to build trust and manage cross-functional teams
  • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification is preferred
  • Monday.com proficiency is preferred
