QA Engineer

• Collaborating with engineering and providing input to create Asset List and tag numbers and descriptions for all the equipment to be input into Maximo.
• Review all drawings for tag names and descriptions and provide feedback to electrical, mechanical, and I&C to ensure that equipment is labeled correctly on the drawings.
• Develop the asset list for ordering equipment tags.
• Develop Safe TK load sheet for isolating equipment for modernization.
• Develop Maximo asset load sheet to upload into Maximo.
• Develop recommendations for Maintenance Strategy based off the O&M Manuals for all equipment being installed as part of modernization for the plant approval.
• Develops Maximo hierarchy and PM strategy and provides the plant for review.
• Attend and participate in the necessary Project meetings based on their individual role.
• Become familiar with and be able to interpret any technical specifications and drawings related to the scope of work.
• Complete any necessary deliverables as defined by their individual role or as directed by Purchasers onsite representatives.
• Coordinate their daily activities to support the Project.
• Understand their role/responsibilities and respond to site/project conditions in a timely manner and with minimal direction or supervision.
• Immediately report any incidents, unsafe conditions, unusual activities, or unforeseen circumstances to the Purchaser’s onsite representative.

QA/QC Coordinator

Designer

• Performing all aspects for complete design of complex civil/structural assignments
• Drafting civil/structural plans under minimal supervision
• Assisting engineers with cost and material estimated and preliminary design studies
• Checking the accuracy and quality of drawings developed by drafters
• Performing field related work collecting design information and verifying designs for tie-ins, function and clearances to existing facility

Civil Designer III

Civil Engineer

• Perform all aspects for complete designs of small and large civil/structural engineering assignments
• Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards
• Developing conceptual layouts and cost studies
• Producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs
• Producing detail design calculations and sketches
• Checking calculations made by other engineers
• Assisting the drafting group in resolving routine layout and detailing problems
• Consulting with design leaders from other disciplines
• Reviewing and checking vendor drawings for civil/structural input
• Performing fieldwork necessary to gather field data and provide construction support

Civil Structural Engineer

Manager

• Generally responsible for total delivery of services safely, on time, within performance budget and meeting quality expectations.
• Work at this level requires extensive progressive experience in construction management and involves utilization of project controls for cost, schedule and quality of projects.
• Familiarity with and utilizing department standards.
• Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a task.
• Extensive knowledge of safety requirements, with a commitment to a zero accidents environment.
• Ability to ensure contractor’s activities are planned and executed with safety first.
• Responsible for the safe performance of all contractor’s on assigned projects.
• Validating professional service and construction estimates at the beginning of a project, and then tracking changes as the project progresses.
• Reviewing and approving all deliverables.
• Extensive knowledge of scope and deliverables.
• Initiating timely change notices when deviation is made from scope, affecting schedule, deliverables or cost of the work.
• Planning and organizing the work of the project team.
• Communicating the plan to the team, project leadership and the client.
• Maintaining control of the project by tracking and maintaining discipline performance budget progress, schedule commitments and quality standards.
• Understanding and utilizing the project tools in place for project control.

• Generally responsible for performing all aspects for a complete designs of small and large civil/structural engineering assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods
• This work will be performed under general supervision
• Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards
• Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team
• Developing conceptual layouts and cost studies as necessary to determine the simplest, most efficient approach to solving engineering tasks at hand
• Producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs suitable for the level of the estimate being performed on a project
• Producing detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction associated with the project
• Consulting with design leaders from other disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of vital information necessary for the scheduled completion of the project
• Reviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for civil/structural input
• Performing fieldwork necessary to gather field data, check tie-ins and provide construction support
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced drafting and engineering personnel in the department

Structural Engineer

• Perform all aspects for complete design of complex civil/structural engineering assignments
• Work under general supervision as part of an on-site team in Kingsport, TN
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for solving engineering tasks

• Produce detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction
• Check calculations made by other engineers for accuracy and conformance
• Assist drafting group in resolving layout and detailing problems

• Advise senior engineer concerning design or scope changes

Senior Structural Engineer

Project Manager

• Generally responsible for supervision and technical direction over a team of engineers and designers engaged in the total delivery of services on time, within performance budget and quality expectations.
• Efficiently managing promotional projects minimizing the cost to Hargrove by working with the Engineering Resource Leaders to accurately estimate Professional Service man-hours to complete the project while achieving the objectives.
• Successfully managing commercial contract(s) on one or more projects of various sizes, as required.
• Ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner, Project Change Notices are processed, monthly Office Earnings Report (OER) is reviewed in the time allotted, and the project(s) plan in Vision is current.
• Maintaining control of the project by tracking and maintaining discipline performance budget progress, schedule commitments, and quality standards.
• Understanding and utilizing the project tools that are in place for project control.

• Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all documentation is reviewed and checked against vendor submittals, specifications, interdiscipline, etc. regardless of resource location.
• Ensuring that standard project work processes are followed by all team members through all phases of engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Interviewing discipline leads to maintain up-to-date progress against man hour expended analysis recognizing the Project Manager is responsible for overall financial health of each project with the respective discipline leads being responsible for producing the required deliverables within the given budget.
• Assessing the performance of the project team members through the course of the project, and work with resource leadership to organize a qualified and motivated project team.
• Ensuring project documentation is properly reviewed and approved by the client.
• Providing Construction Phase Support, start-up assistance, and response to Requests for Information, as needed.
