About the role

  • Check and Review the PDA and FDA costs following Harbor Lab’s standards
  • Negotiate with agents and/or port service providers, look for spot agreements or contracts on behalf of the client
  • Review charter party, worldscale, bimco, etc to identify and mark Charterer’s Account or rebillable items, if any in the proforma or final DA
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, Maritime Economics or related field. A MSc degree will be an asset
  • 1+ years of experience in Disbursements Operations, Post-Fixture or Freight Voyage Analysis departments in a Shipping Company
  • Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Be eager to contribute to scaling of a rapidly growing software business
  • Be creative, outgoing, and enthusiastic with a “can-do” attitude
  • Be ambitious to learn and develop within Harbor Lab

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience in Husbandry / Owners Matters will be considered as an asset.
