• Serve as the primary upfit subject-matter expert for customers and dealer partners
• Consult with customers to understand use cases, duty cycles, and operational requirements
• Recommend appropriate upfit solutions that align with Harbinger vehicle specs and performance parameters
• Support sales teams with technical guidance during the sales process
• Define and maintain approved upfit configurations, compatibility guidelines, and best practices
• Build scalable frameworks for common customer applications (e.g., delivery, service bodies, refrigeration, utility, specialty builds)
• Develop configuration rules, constraints, and documentation to guide quoting and ordering
• Work closely with third-party upfitters, body manufacturers, and equipment vendors
• Evaluate new upfit partners and solutions for compatibility and scalability
• Support partner onboarding and training efforts
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Manufacturing to ensure upfit feasibility
• Communicate customer-driven requirements back into product roadmaps
• Support homologation, safety, and regulatory compliance where applicable
• Build repeatable workflows for upfit selection, validation, and approval
• Create internal and external documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials
• Support development of digital tools for configuration, quoting, and order management
• Track field feedback, warranty data, and customer satisfaction related to upfits
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Recommend new standardized solutions based on market demand

Manager, Upfitting Solutions

• Own and grow a portfolio of national and enterprise fleet accounts
• Develop long-term account strategies to expand footprint, revenue, and adoption
• Serve as the executive point of contact for key customer stakeholders
• Identify, qualify, and close large, complex fleet opportunities
• Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles with procurement, operations, sustainability, and finance teams
• Build compelling business cases around TCO, ROI, sustainability goals, and electrification strategy
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and master service agreements
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate customer needs into roadmap inputs
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to align delivery timelines
• Work with Dealer Development and Regional Sales teams to support local execution
• Collaborate with Finance and Legal on deal structure, incentives, and compliance
• Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new national accounts
• Monitor account health, usage, and satisfaction
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities
• Resolve escalations and ensure long-term partnership success
• Track competitor activity, fleet electrification trends, and regulatory developments
• Provide insights to leadership on pricing, positioning, and customer feedback

National Accounts Manager

Sales

• Identify and engage with government, municipal, and other prospective customers to drive awareness and sales of Harbinger Motors’ EV products.
• Collaborate with existing dealers to support sales initiatives and fill gaps in coverage by proactively pursuing new opportunities.
• Travel daily within the assigned region to meet with potential customers, dealers, and partners.
• Arrange and accompany customers on tours of our manufacturing facility in Garden Grove, California, to showcase our production capabilities and product quality.
• Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales plan tailored to the assigned region.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales progress in the company CRM.
• Occasionally travel out of state to attend trade shows, training sessions, or support national sales efforts.
