About the role
- Analyze Data: Deep-dive into shipment configurations, warehouse locations, and/or carrier costs.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with other members of the Operations team.
- Build an MVP Tool: Create a working tool that organizes data and highlights savings opportunities.
- Create a “Runbook” and Necessary Documentation: Write clear, step-by-step instructions.
- Present to Leadership: Present findings and recommendations to Happy Returns leaders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to interpret data.
- Demonstrates a high level of rigor and attention to detail.
- Skilled communicator, both written and verbal.
- Interested in data analytics, logistics, and/or transportation strategy.
- Background in data analytics, logistics, and/or transportation.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL for relational datasets.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data processing.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables and basic modeling).
