About the role

  • Leading and managing Lean Six Sigma projects to improve business processes and reduce waste and variation
  • Provide leadership and support necessary to continuous improvement projects, applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to strategic projects and goals of the business
  • Champions process improvement culture and lean program development; oversees the implementation of best practices across the entire supply chain
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams & engage with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Analyzing data and using statistical tools to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions
  • Facilitating change management activities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of improvements
  • Communicating project progress, results, return on investment and impact to stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality system-related procedures as they evolve and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company and government quality, safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Engineering, Business, Management)
  • 8 years’ related business experience
  • 4 years+ plus demonstrated, hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience as part of a large scale transformation
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse, geographically dispersed teams
  • Work on-site at a Hanger Facility w/ ability to travel up to 25%
