About the role
- Serves as the Project Manager who organizes and manages resources to deliver all the work required to complete an IT project within defined scope, time, and cost constraints.
- Manages activities of the program, meeting with appropriate stakeholders, taking a lead role, and working with stakeholders to develop viable WBS and Schedule, Project Standards, Change Control Plan, Resource and Staffing Plan, Budget Plan, Risk Management Plan, and Communication Plan.
- Develops and maintains relationships with program managers and the teams of WSMR funded initiatives.
- Creates, maintains, updates, and reconciles tracking and analysis documentation, spreadsheets, and information on program status and schedules.
- Identifies program risks and develops mitigation plans; assists in identifying and prioritizing requirements.
- Perform work on-client site at White Sands Missile Range, NM and liaise with stakeholders and program teams.
Requirements
- BS, preferably in Computer Science, Information System, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of direct, work related experience.
- Or AS degree + at least 10 years of direct, work related experience.
- Security+ CE.
- MCSE, CCNA/CCNP (preferred).
- ITIL Foundations, ITIL Intermediate (preferred).
- Active Secret clearance required at time of application.
- Must be able to attain and retain a Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must maintain ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.
- Work performed on-client site at White Sands Missile Range, NM.
