About the role

  • First point of contact for customers on electrical engineering questions related to packaging machines
  • Handling incoming service requests via the ticketing system
  • Independently performing remote services (e.g. fault analysis, parameter checks, software adjustments)
  • Initial troubleshooting together with the customer
  • Providing technical support on machine functionality
  • Active participation in cross-service projects and close coordination with other specialist departments

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in an electrical field (e.g., electronics technician, mechatronics technician)
  • Ideally further training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d)
  • Strong technical understanding, especially in electrical engineering and process engineering
  • Experience with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal and Sinamics drive technology
  • Independent, analytical and reliable working style
  • Willingness to learn and openness to technical development
  • Good English skills
  • Basic willingness to undertake occasional international travel
  • Confident user of common MS Office applications
