About the role

  • You will be the lead architect of performance for our newly acquired portfolio companies.
  • Your goal is to look under the hood of different organizations, extract messy data, and transform it into a clear roadmap for growth and operational excellence.
  • You won't just find the problems; you build the systems that solve them.
  • Analyze the income statements of acquired companies to identify "leakage" and drive EBITDA improvements.
  • Partner with finance leads to develop rolling forecasts and annual budgets for the portfolio, ensuring that efficiency gains are accurately reflected in financial projections.
  • Track the "before and after" of your efficiency initiatives. When a company misses a target, you’ll perform deep-dive variance analysis to find out if it was an operational failure or a market shift.
  • Audit the data health of our recent acquisitions.
  • Act as the translator between our executive leadership and the operational teams at the acquired companies.
  • Inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a highly analytical role (Management Consulting, FP&A or Business Intelligence).
  • Proven experience in change management or post-merger integration.
  • Expertise in SQL and advanced Data Visualization.
  • A "detective" mindset: You enjoy the chaos of unorganized data and find satisfaction in bringing order to it.
  • Power User (Excel/Google Sheets): You don't just "know" Excel; you build robust, scalable models that others can actually use without breaking.
  • SQL Native: You are comfortable writing queries to extract insights from relational databases without needing a developer to hold your hand.
  • The "So What?" Factor: You possess the rare ability to look at a pivot table and immediately articulate the business implication to a CEO.
  • Financial Modeling: Advanced ability to build 3-statement models and DCFs in Excel, specifically tailored to integration scenarios.
  • KPI Development: Experience defining and tracking SaaS or industry-specific metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, Burn Rate, or Gross Margin) and linking them to operational drivers.
