About the role
- Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud technologies, collaborating with Infrastructure and Data teams to ensure scalability, security, and innovation
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, supporting the professional growth and development of the engineering team
- Actively review and approve pull requests, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and alignment with project objectives
- Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous feedback within the engineering team through mentoring on best code review practices, technical excellence, and problem-solving strategies
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success departments to streamline product development and delivery
- Technical Expertise: Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of AI/ML and cloud technologies to guide the team in best practices and innovative solutions
- Resource Allocation: Oversee the efficient allocation of engineering resources and budget to maximize productivity and innovation
- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key technology vendors to bolster our cloud solution offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in cloud technologies are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership roles overseeing engineering teams, with exposure to cloud-based software development
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and technologies, such as AWS, and an understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Experience in agile software development and project management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate team members
- Experience in GovTech or similar sectors is advantageous
