About the role
- Ensure a stable, secure and customer-focused operation of the SaaS platform
- Take responsibility for the operation of associated hosting and managed-service offerings
- Ensure high availability, performance and security through proactive monitoring, maintenance, standardization and continuous optimization
- Support ERP implementation and customization projects and ensure a seamless handover to the Managed Service
- Act as the technical interface between customers, Professional Services, Support and Development, and coordinate and collaborate with external partners
- Contribute to increased customer satisfaction, operational transparency and scalability of the ERP platform
- Help shape the further development of the managed-service portfolio and contribute to the sustainable growth of the ERP SaaS business
Requirements
- Initial experience in operating SaaS platforms
- Solid knowledge of networking, security and backup solutions, as well as database fundamentals (including clustering, backup/restore) and Linux administration
- Basic understanding of high availability, scaling, disaster recovery, and release, update and patch/maintenance processes
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Understanding of ERP rollouts, change-management processes, and a strong customer focus with emphasis on service quality, reliability and professional handling of escalations and critical operational situations is an advantage
- Structured way of working even when handling parallel operational topics, and close collaboration with Professional Services, Project Management, Development, Support and customers
