About the role

  • Review and prepare complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, entities, and LLCs
  • Prepare individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by deadlines
  • Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed
  • Work with clients to gather relevant tax-related information to prepare an accurate tax return
  • Analyze the individual's tax situation, trusts, and estate from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefit is applied
  • Prepare and review year-end projections and quarterly estimates
  • Research various tax-related issues
  • Manage and develop clients who require income tax and financial planning
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to interns and associates on tax matters
  • Act as a liaison between managers and clients
  • Maintain strong presentation skills in both written and oral communication
  • Attend internal and external professional development and training seminars regularly to enhance skills and knowledge in the field

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work, including preparing and reviewing complex high-net-worth individual, partnership, fiduciary, LLC, non-profit, gift, and estate tax returns
  • Ability to prepare working trial balance and year-end adjusting entries
  • Possess a broad understanding of Tax Law
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and consistently meet all deadlines
  • Keen interest in staying abreast of dynamic changes in tax industry's regulations and policies
  • Excel at problem-solving and quickly identify and offer solutions
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess
  • Excellent research, writing, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without visa sponsorship
