• Responsibility for the monthly close, including general ledger and balance sheet accounting, as well as preparation of the income statement (profit and loss)
• Preparation of internal monthly reporting to the Group (Cognos)
• Close cooperation with our external accounting service provider
• Review and approval of payment runs related to the monthly payroll
• Responsible for invoicing management, including provisions for accrued expenses, inventory and receivables
• Providing analyses and advising the management team on company performance versus budget
• Advising managers on improving financial performance and cash flow
• Coordinating processes for monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecasting, as well as cash flow forecasting
• Review and preparation of annual financial statements
• Filing tax returns and collaborating with external tax specialists
• Improving workflows and minimizing manual steps
