About the role

  • Lead the design and development of web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React (4-5+ years), and Guidewire’s Jutro design system
  • Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams to deliver single-page applications and digital services
  • Apply expertise in CSS, SASS, automated unit testing (Jest/Enzyme), and server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST)
  • Mentor and guide development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Support migration projects from AngularJS to React and leverage UX prototyping tools (Invision, Sketch) as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience with web technologies
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience or willingness to learn Guidewire’s Jutro design system
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus
