About the role
- Design and oversee end-to-end technical architectures that solve complex business problems.
- Lead enterprise-wide architectural decisions and technical strategy.
- Manage and ensure the seamless integration of multiple platforms, tools, and systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, senior architects, and technical leads.
- Develop long-term technology roadmaps, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, roadmaps, and architecture blueprints.
- Diagnose and resolve critical system issues, ensuring performance, security, and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with C-level executives on strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in insurance or technology-related roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Guidewire Certifications.
- Relevant AWS and Java Certifications.
- Fluent business-level English is essential; additional language skills are highly valued.
- Deep knowledge of the insurance value chain, particularly in front-office and mid-office processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale software implementation projects, with expertise in translating complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Strong ability to consult with customers and lead transformation initiatives, aligning business objectives with innovative solutions using the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Configuring Guidewire applications to align with business requirements, including setting up products that cover the full insurance lifecycle.
