About the role

  • This leadership role within Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Segment is responsible for managing client delivery, strengthening client relationships, and driving business development efforts across the Department of the Army.
  • The position will focus on delivery and growth opportunities within the Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Maneuver Air, Ground, and Fires; Army Materiel Command; and other key Army stakeholders.
  • The Associate Director will oversee a portfolio of client engagements and consulting staff, ensuring all contractual targets and deliverables are met while upholding exceptional quality standards.
  • This role will manage engagement economics to ensure delivery aligns with approved financial parameters.
  • The Associate Director will also drive growth within new and existing engagements by identifying expansion opportunities, shaping client demand, and aligning Guidehouse capabilities with client priorities.
  • In addition, the Associate Director will play a key role in developing and supporting team members through career development, advocacy, recruitment, and retention efforts, contributing to a positive, collaborative, and performance-oriented culture.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • TWELVE (12) or more years' experience leading diverse teams in a federal consulting environment, with at least FIVE (5) years within the Army.
  • Expert in driving business development activities and leading all aspects of winning federal proposals, with proven ability to generate new wins and revenue
  • Expert program/project management skills with demonstrated experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams across a range of projects
  • Well-rounded leadership skills to provide strategic, analytical, and operational direction to teams
  • Strong communication and program management skills, and the ability to operate proactively and independently within dynamic and unstructured environments
