Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures
Financial audit statements and audit readiness services
Understanding of current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems
Support to the DoW financial statement audit remediation and sustainment strategy and execution, oversight and reporting, and audit infrastructure.

Requirements

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Bachelor’s degree
TWO (2) years of experience in financial management, including providing financial management support to government clients such as audit/audit readiness, audit remediation, internal controls over financial reporting, and process improvement, in accordance with DoW financial management policies and procedures.
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration (preferred)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly synthesize information, learn new skills, and apply a variety of solutions to business and financial management challenges.
One or more professional certifications strongly preferred, such as CPA, CIA, PMP, CGFM, and/or CDFM.
