Assess and implement supply chain improvement opportunities and savings initiatives relevant in the hospital environment
Interest in sourcing, analyzing, negotiating, implementing, and validating contract management process steps
Knowledge of common provider systems such as Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Facilitate and lead the strategic sourcing process including contract negotiations and leveraging supplier relationships for various categories
Review pricing and business terms for capital equipment and service contracts
Conduct formal business reviews leveraging a supplier scorecard process
Understand healthcare inventory management systems and general operations principles
Develop and deliver creative solutions to address organizational needs including managing capital assets and establishing policies
Develop client-ready project deliverables such as workplans, presentations, and analyses

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree, graduate degree preferred
Minimum 3-5+ years’ relevant work experience in a Nursing or other clinically related settings and/or experience in non-clinical areas
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
