About the role

  • Guidehouse supports the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to execute its mission to ensure our nation has the safest, most efficient and modern transportation system in the world.
  • In support of that mission, we are searching for a Senior Consultant to help DOT consolidate and improve its grants system.
  • Develop operating concepts, operations models, and governance models
  • Facilitate client meetings, interviews or work groups
  • Work collaboratively in a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Work with diverse stakeholder to drive towards consensus
  • Lead the development of work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client implementation
  • Develop business process improvements to existing programs
  • Provide change management recommendations to clients
  • Develop communications and executive presentations for audiences such as agency leadership, the White House, and Congress
  • Assume responsibility for managing client relations
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
  • Manage project plans, budgets, and reports

Requirements

  • 6+ years of strategy & operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
