Guidehouse is seeking a data scientist to support client engagements through data analysis, visualization, prototyping, dashboarding and insight development.
The analytic support will be focused on describing epidemiologic patterns, causes, and effects of health and disease conditions in defined populations.
This role involves informing epidemiologic study design, analyzing, and interpreting health data to inform decision making, disease prevention strategies, and policy development.
Collaborate with clients to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support client decision-making.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Support client presentations and deliverables by clearly communicating analytical findings.
Collaborate with project teams, leadership, and client stakeholders to support project objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
A minimum of ONE (1) year of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics
Demonstrated hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI
Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL (or similar query languages)
Experience translating business questions into analytical solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage tasks independently and work effectively in a team-based consulting environment
Willingness to travel as required by client engagements
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
