About the role
- Guidehouse supports the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) to execute its mission to ensure our nation has the safest, most efficient and modern transportation system in the world.
- Lead a team in the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements, setting high standards of quality and timely delivery
- Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Develop detailed status reports for individual programs
- Work with diverse stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and interdependencies
- Work with stakeholders to help keep projects on-time and within budget
- Lead the facilitation of client meetings, work groups, or interviews
- Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall work experience.
- Experience working in public transit.
- Strong project management and stakeholder facilitation skills.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when tackling unstructured problems
- Detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks to align with changing client needs and respond to ad-hoc requests
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
