About the role
- The Value & Access team provides commercialization strategy and market access services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
- Responsible for creating and implementing pricing and access strategies for a variety of pharmaceutical assets.
- Work with senior staff to develop project proposals, managing consulting teams in the development and communication of client deliverables, and maintaining client relationships.
- Oversee development and review of project deliverables to ensure proper framing of strategic issues and that materials are up to client standards.
- Facilitate client presentations and manage client relationships.
- Actively supports business development and project sales cycle.
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management of direct reports.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and staffing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, a major course of study in science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy preferred.
- 6+ years of transferable consulting or relevant biotechnology/pharmaceutical work experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics.
- 3+ years of direct experience in client management and content delivery roles.
- Demonstrated track record of managing direct reports and teams of experienced consultants that include managers and consultants.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
- Experience developing, designing. and executing qualitative and quantitative market research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
