About the role
- Responsible for building and maintaining a territory plan for applicable West territory
- Captures information on competitive ERP modernization opportunities
- Responsible for originating, building and closing Workday net new opportunities
- Responsible for building, retaining, strengthening, and maintaining client relationships
- Responsible for developing and driving marketing activities in the west states
- Primarily prospects and closes Workday ERP opportunities for new clients in states, large cities, and large counties as well as applicable special districts and medium enterprise prospects focused in the Western US
- Develops and maintains relationships with Workday sales reps
- Understands Guidehouse service offerings in other areas (non-Workday) for benefit of existing clients and prospects
- Attends conferences and marketing events relevant to optimization and automation of Backoffice (FINS and HCM) in state and local government and special districts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College
- A MINIMUM of TEN (10) years of relevant professional work experience with an emphasis on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Experience networking, marketing, developing and connecting to new net prospects
- A MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of Workday services sales experience in State and Local government
- Knowledge of Workday’s partner ecosystem and knowledge of Workday’s software offerings
- Ability to travel up to 50%
