About the role
- Accountable for the design and application of new advanced computational methods for mRNA design and development
- Guide the design and optimization of nucleic acid therapeutics and associated vaccine platforms
- Lead and mentor a team of computational design scientists
- Direct the development and application of computational design methodologies
- Ensure scientific integration by embedding computational design experts within discovery project teams
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computational Biology, Data Science, Mathematics and Physics, Biological or Chemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Computational Life Sciences
- 8+ years of scientific experience, including 4 years of direct/matrix people management and international leadership responsibilities
- Proven capacity to use theoretical background and education to solve actual problems of R&D projects
- Research experience and publication record in relevant areas
- Strong competences in computer science.
