About the role

  • Manage sales of products in the Infrastructure and/or Irrigation segment: prepare quotations for clients, visit accounts, assist with documentation for new contracts, provide advice according to the client type, enter orders, coordinate with the Infrastructure Sales Manager on pricing for each business, check stock and coordinate with the production department for requested orders to evaluate production feasibility, coordinate with the credit and collections department and the Customer Service Analyst to secure order release, track order release, support the credit and collections area to ensure collection, and manage guarantees through bank guarantees, contracts and/or endorsed promissory notes. Also follow up on order dispatches by reviewing products pending shipment, all in order to complete a sale that meets the customer's expectations.
  • Participate in tenders directly or through a distributor supported by the tender assistant: review newspapers, government websites and other sources where tenders are published to identify upcoming calls of interest to the Unit. Convene local distributors to participate in tenders. Coordinate the submission of required documents. Prepare quotations for the distributor. Prepare reports on the tender process for approval by Infrastructure Management. Monitor the process and shipments, and support meeting collection deadlines, all with the aim of winning the tenders in which the unit participates.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports to keep Commercial Management informed: prepare sales progress reports, send management visit reports to compare actual expenses with the previous month's budget, prepare client status reports, schedule travel and visits for approval by the Area Manager. Also prepare month-end closing projections and monthly expense reconciliations.
  • Provide technical presentations and monthly trainings to advise clients and their staff on the use of the company's products.
  • Comply with internal policies and standards of behavior established in the Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Keep equipment and the workplace orderly, reporting any anomalies.
  • Comply with legal regulations, the Internal Work Regulations, the internal occupational health and safety regulations and other provisions, directives, circulars, regulations, standards, etc. issued by the EMPLOYER; all of which the employee acknowledges having been informed of, at least verbally.

Requirements

  • Education level: University degree
  • Specialization: Hydraulic Engineering or related fields
  • Experience: At least 5 years in the position
  • Desirable knowledge: BIM, AutoCAD and Excel
