About the role
- Receive, review, register and release internal special and investment orders (capitalization, decommissioning, disposal, service, etc.), verifying the correctness of the information and recording data in internal systems to ensure proper control and accurate cost allocation.
- Assist in processing employee travel expense reports, judicial liabilities and debit notices, performing analyses, reconciliations and entries in the accounting system to ensure correct classification and regularization of financial and legal pending items.
- Assist in preparing data and recording depreciation and amortization of fixed assets and loans and financing, performing precise calculations and accounting entries to accurately reflect financial impacts in the company records.
- Assist in gathering data for the preparation of the company’s financial statements according to Brazilian accounting standards, compiling information, verifying documents and checking applicable accounting criteria to meet legal requirements and ensure transparency of financial information.
- Use and help develop software applications related to accounting activities, identifying automation needs, testing solutions and supporting tool development to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of account detailings for accounting accounts, identifying discrepancies, making necessary adjustments and performing reconciliations for cleared entries to ensure the integrity and clarity of accounting information.
- Assist in the release of payments for loan and financing agreements, verifying calculations, evaluating provisions for charges and monitoring monetary updates on debts to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the company’s financial obligations.
- Ensure good practices related to Quality, Environment, Occupational Health & Safety and Social Responsibility standards, as well as compliance with customer requirements, regulatory and statutory requirements and contractual obligations.
- Act in accordance with the corporate Compliance and Ethics program, following the rules defined and aligned with the Company’s guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
