About the role
- Ensure the use of sound accounting practices and compliance with current accounting standards, aiming to guarantee their fulfillment and application. Maintain controls over Property, Plant & Equipment and Intangible Assets, creating reports and ensuring that all records are aligned across system modules. Analyze the Balance Sheet and Income Statement (P&L), ensure the accuracy of balances and accounting results, and recommend corrections for deviations to the responsible departments to secure the best outcomes for the Company.
- Carry out the full accounting routine, performing calculations, controls, reconciliations and analyses, identifying needs for systemic corrections.
- Be responsible for the accounting close schedule and cycle, with the objective of meeting the company deadlines for submission of final reports.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring that potential deviations are corrected prior to monthly and quarterly close submissions.
- Ensure accounting entries are recorded in accordance with the area’s scope.
- Act as a focal point for other analysts in the department, sharing knowledge and guidance.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting (BSc) completed, with active CRC (Brazilian professional accounting registration).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards, IFRS and Brazilian CPCs.
- Knowledge of IFRS 16.
- Experience with ERPs, preferably SAP / SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with P&L analysis and monthly and quarterly closes.
- Experience in Shared Services Centers (CSC/SSC) and participation in systems projects will be considered differential.
- Availability to work in São Bernardo do Campo.
