About the role

  • **Management of Multidisciplinary Teams:** Lead, mentor, and develop software engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists.
  • **High-Performance Culture:** Foster a collaborative environment focused on psychological safety.
  • **Talent Cycle:** Manage recruitment, continuous feedback, performance evaluations and Individual Development Plans (IDPs), aligned with Grupo Boticário’s culture.

  • **Quality and Scalability:** Ensure technical excellence in deliveries by guiding architectural decisions and secure development practices.
  • **Platform Evolution:** Advance the technical vision of the **Demand Forecasting** platform, addressing technical debt strategically.
  • **Problem Solving:** Facilitate complex technical discussions and remove impediments, ensuring alignment between the team and related areas.
  • **Strategic Partnership:** Work closely with PMs and stakeholders to translate business needs into an executable **technical roadmap**.
  • **Monitoring:** Track product metrics, team efficiency, and direct impact on business results.

Requirements

  • **Product Leadership:** Proven experience leading teams in the development of digital products.
  • **Management Tools:** Proficiency with tools such as **Kanbanize**, **GitHub**, and others to support product management.
  • **Architecture and Cloud:** Expertise with cloud providers (**AWS, GCP, or Azure**), microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.
  • **Databases:** Hands-on experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) data stores.
  • **Software Engineering:** Strong knowledge of **CI/CD** pipelines, automated testing implementation, and monitoring of critical applications.
  • **Strategic Communication:** Ability to translate technical concepts for executives and diverse audiences clearly.
  • **Business Acumen:** Ability to connect technical development to the company’s strategic objectives.
  • **Pragmatism and Data:** Analytical focus on solving complex problems using evidence and data.
  • **Adaptability:** Lifelong-learning mindset and resilience to adjust course as needed.
  • **Organization:** Discipline in process management to ensure flow and speed of delivery.
